12 ounce can. Dark brown pour. Lots of carbonation. Lots of chocolate. Very rich tasting for ABV. Nice. ads135 (4590) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 16, 2016
One of the best browns I’ve had. Tons of malts, mostly caramel but with a nice burned chocolate aftertaste. Tried at Westport Ale House in 2015. freekyp (2194) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 15, 2015
Cast Iron brown is quite possibly the best brown ale I’ve had, playing up powdery chocolate and earthy spice components in both flavor and aroma. I found myself sipping this one slowly, watching the malt-dominated flavors expand and give way to well displayed hops that both balanced the malt, and put on a delicate earthy spice dance of their own. Pours crystal clear dark brown with a 2 finger frothy light beige head. Wish they this one back home, On tap at Doubletree in St Louis.

Yum. Had this on draught, and perhaps it was because it was a nice fall day, but this hit the spot. Dark, roasted, caramel, thick without that sometimes overwhelemd bitter coffee roasted flavor. EvanFriend (581) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 3, 2015
Chocolate, coffee, a bit of molasses and nuttiness. Very smooth, like one would expect from an oatmeal stout. Tastes like a cross between a stout and a brown ale. I like it. lightbias (453) - USA - SEP 23, 2015
Nice. Dark caramel cola coloring, creamy, off-white head. Pours thick with a nutty, chocolate malty aroma off the top. The roasted barley certainly comes through in the swallows, but accentuates the chocolate very nicely. Definitely a brew I could drink all night. Tasty, creamy and solid all around. 12oz can. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of tobacco, oat, malt, and cinnamon. Taste is of toasty malt, tobacco, oat, and some spice. Lingering tasty of oat. Mouthfeel is creamy and sticky. Body is medium, and it goes down easy. Very flavorful, and easy to drink. r464 (2360) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Very malty with a nutty flavor mixed with caramel, toffee, and cocoa. Some coffee and a lightly roasty hint through the finish.
