Think if could make a rich but light stout taste like chocolate milk, but not synthetic. Thats what you got here! Thanks 4Hands! ericsred (1) - ST LOUIS, Missouri, USA - NOV 20, 2015 does not count
The perfect beer. Wish it was more than just seasonal. Surprisingly not overpowering, where you can have more than 1 and not feel like a bloated 5 year old. Good stout taste, clean finish, makes you feel safe. jrussell9109 (14) - Fairbury, Illinois, USA - OCT 18, 2015
Appearance is very nice, not much lacing though. Poured out of can into pint glass. Smells amazing of chocolate and malts. The taste is out of this world, lots of chocolate coffee and malts. Definitely a favorite! jkemmery (2) - Troy, Missouri, USA - JUN 8, 2016 does not count
Dark brown to black, tan head, head is a bit thin for a stout. Aroma is chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate, no noticeable hop aroma. Slightly thin palate for a stout. Taste is predominantly chocolate with hints of vanilla, caramel and cream on the finish. Bittering hops noticeable but balanced, flavor is reminiscent of good dark chocolate in a liquid form. orangenblu62 (39) - Illinois, USA - APR 26, 2014
Dark pour with creamy head. Sweet aroma. Sweet velvety taste with a hint of chocolate. Not overpowering. Smooth finish. Light feel for a stout. Quite tasty.

A dark brown beer with a small tan head. The aroma and flavor are full rich chocolate and lactose, simply wonderful. A little thin, but nearly perfect. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - APR 6, 2013
The aroma smells like milk chocolate, roasted malts, and vanilla, and the appearance fuses an opaque black with a medium sized tan head. The taste is quite sweet, a touch bitter, and slightly umami; also, the palate combines a medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and a long chocolaty finish. Had this at 4 Hands Brewery, straight from the tap in a Nonic Pint Glass.
Aroma: The aroma was right on the money for me. Strong Chocolate Milk notes, comparable to Choklat from Southern Tier. A hint of toasted oats.
Appearance: Dark black with a decent head. Good Lacing. Just a nice beer to look at.
Taste: Chocolate and Lactose at the forefront, just as the name advertises. Toasty and Raisin notes come later. Not as good as other Chocolate Stouts I’ve had, but certainly up there.
Palate: Soapy and Somewhat thick, like Chocolate Milk. Slightly creamy.
Overall: As my first beer from 4hands, I look forward to tasting their other offerings. cvance11 (3) - - FEB 14, 2015 does not count
Smooth, yet delicious chocolatey and peanut butter flavor. Easy to drink and exceptionally flavorful on the palette. Would be best served as a dessert beverage kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Yum! Black pour from 22oz bottle. Creamy milky choclate cocoa heaven. As advertised. Doesn't let you down at all. Love it
