COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cuvee Ange was inspired by the French Oak wine barrels that once housed all French wine varietals. Fermented with wild yeast and aged in a combination of Cabernet, Merlot, and Grenache barrels with raspberries and blackberries, Cuvee Ange is a fruity, tart, and complex ale. Cuvee Ange pours a bright rose with aromas of fruit, funk, and wood.

dmac (6211) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - FEB 7, 2017
Draft at EBF. Poured a light lavender under a foamy pinkish head. Aroma is solid, very jammy, loads berries, vinous, slight funk from the wild yeast. Flavor is a step back with weaker berry jam blended with tonic water and finished with dry toast and crackers. Medium mouthfeel with big fizzy carbonation and a watery finish with a quicker fading aftertaste.

brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 5, 2016
Bottle @ Mike’s House. Thanks, Joe. Cloudy amber colored beer with a white head. Sour cherry and red wine vinegar on the nose. There’s some grass, red wine, and grape skin. Lots of berry, too. Sort of a sweet blueberry pie filling thing going on. Some vanilla, oak, and grass. A pretty soft beer. Not too shabby.

Bottle. It pours a red color with an off white head. The aroma has cherry, blueberry and a little funk. The flavor is the same with massive blueberry and a little raspberry. Smooth. Really nice soft mouthfeel and good level of tartness. Fruity.
