COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cuvee Ange was inspired by the French Oak wine barrels that once housed all French wine varietals. Fermented with wild yeast and aged in a combination of Cabernet, Merlot, and Grenache barrels with raspberries and blackberries, Cuvee Ange is a fruity, tart, and complex ale. Cuvee Ange pours a bright rose with aromas of fruit, funk, and wood.

The nose on this beer is out of this world! Very fruity. Appearance is a light amber and hazy. A very drinkable sour saison that has a nice sweet flavor. Had a nice finish and could tast a little of the oak in there from the again. Great beer

Hazy light amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, vanilla, wood, wine, toast, and some toffee malts. Taste of vanilla, toffee, wood, dried fruits, wine, brett, and a dry finish.

Reddish amber color with a skimpy head, and a cedar scented with raspberry aroma. A very unusual beer that I really enjoyed. Has a slight hoppy finish, but not to bitter.

Draft @ 4 hands, snifter. Very fruity, the raspberry and blackberry was very apparent on the nose. Complex taste. Again, raspberry and blackberry but with light wine and funky notes. The barrel aging really helped this shine. Nothing was overpowering, very fruity.

Elegant and subtle lemon, melon, lightly acidic berry. Really beautiful. White wine aromas. But not just any white wine, top shelf shit. Murky amber gold. Rose colored slightly. Good lacing. Silky slightly tart berry vinous and lightly Tannic. Smooth.

Pours a deep ruby copper color with a finger or two of of white foam. On the nose its complex and earthy. Nice tart raspberry, wet oak, barnyard funk, vinous fruit and a touch of mustiness. On the palate it follows the nose nicely with a musty funk backbone that carries some light fruity berry notes and a deep vinous touch. The finish gets a touch to much rye like bittereness but overall this beer was amazing ! Great lingering notes of complexity... would drink through a case of this if I could get my hands on it !

sample at EBF, Jea! BACKSTEAB! All jokes aside this is my type of beer. The barrel aging adds a nice light spicey complextiy to the sweetness of the berries. That is all belended together with a great light tartness. Awesome stuff.
