COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer brings together two of our favorite ingredients: Hops and Rye - serious hops up front provide a pungent, floral, and citrus character. We use Centennial, Columbus, and Cascades in this hop lovers dream. The rye provides a slightly spicy flavor and a full mouth-feel. Divided Sky pours straw in color with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and pine. Drink fresh!

Appearance is pale golden, slightly hazy, and has a huge creamy white foam cap. Bottle was way overcarbed. Aroma is typical pine and citrus for the style and hops used, but very fresh and intense. Taste is a clean caramel malt with a bit of pepper from the rye. Also pick up a pleasant grapefruit on the back end. Hop bitterness is sharp, but crisp. Mouthfeel is medium to high for the style. Finish is well balanced but very dry and leaves a sticky feel to the tongue.

Can. Pours a clear copper color with a frothy head and some lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, grain and bit earthy. Taste of pine, lemon, mild malt sweetness and bit of grain. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, crisp and refreshing. Quite tasty.

12 oz. can poured to a Czech-pils glass showing a clear, orangey/gold hue, with a presentable & fairly lasting layer of off white/cream colored froth, and spiraling, foamy lacing. The nose was nicely expressive floral & spice notes, slight resin, citrus as grapefruit, lemon, & orange, bready malt, and light caramel sweetness. Light to medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste mimicked the aroma notes fairly well, added a mellowed but noticeable citrus & rind-like bitterness that lingered, with light tartness & tanginess, and slight dryness to the finish. Pleasingly palatable.

This awesome rye IPA pours straw in color with notes of tangerine and other citrus and a touch of pine.. This beer brings together two of my favorite ingredients: Hops and Rye. The hops have a nice floral, and citrus character. The use Centennial, Columbus, and Cascades along with rye provides a slightly spicy flavor and a full mouth-feel.

Draft. Golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, lemon, toasted grain, biscuit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Citrus, lemon, pine and bitter grapefruit in the finish. A bit on the sweet side, but that was OK. Enough depth and then a bitter ending.

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is hazy light brown/dark yellow with finger-width off-white foamy head with nice sparkle. Aroma is dominant grapefruit and rye, with some earthy hops. Taste is grapefruit, dank resin, malt backbone, spicy rye. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation with bitter grapefruit, resin, mild rye finish. Overall, a nice rye IPA that could have benefitted from some tropical fruitiness for added balance, but still good.

Light amber color with a diminished off-white head. Aromas of sweet malt, light molasses, floral hops, and citrus. Fairly thin. Pale malt, mild citrus, paper and a touch of spicy rye. Simple and unassuming with a hop and rye bite. 1/15

Can. Thanks Miro & others. Misty golden body with a lasting white head. Sweet aroma, rye & caramel. Ok, slightly heavy. Nutty rye sweet malty taste, ok enough. Not much hoppiness really, strange. But a good beer nonetheless.

This one tastes a bit off to me. I like the flavor of rye in a beer, but this one contains way too much with a creamy taste to balance it out that seems out of place. I don't get the high ratings for this one, but it is very popular especially in STL so maybe it's just me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Six pack of cans from Gomers in KCMO. Pours out a light greenish golden color. Frothy white head. Aroma is earthy spice and pungent as advertised. Flavor is also musty. Lots of earth and not so much citrus and pine. I typically love rye beers, but this one doesnt measure up for me.
