Pours a hazy light yellow gold color with a finger of fizz. On the nose its heavy ginger with light touches of lemon and spicy herbal pepper. The flavors are similar to the nose with a heavy ginger beginning that opens up into a slightly floral spicy mid palate that slowly bitters out into a semidry finish. Would be a great food beer for sure... I could use a little more backbone overall but it was a good beer Id like to try again. jandd1983 (4577) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - DEC 2, 2012
It poured a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was of grass, ginger, malts, spice and peaches. The taste was similar and quite unique. A very different but enjoyable beer. Strykzone (7657) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Bomber from TWCP. I rolled it to unseat the yeast sediment. A nice fluffy off white head has decent retention. The beer is dingy golden brown and is hazy. The aroma is herbal with ginger, spices, and peach. Ginger and basil lead the flavors. Lemon is noted more in the after taste and is fairly subtle. The finish is ginger again. Malts and hops are scarce and this beer is all about the additional ingredients. I would love to see what the chefs did with this. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow color with white head. Lemongrass, ginger, malty, spicy aromas and flavors. Interesting flavors, not your classic beer style. Usually I really don’t like these styles, but this one is alright. vyvvy (6731) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 29, 2012
An interesting beer that was quite a winner for me. Pours light golden yellow with a bit of haze to it and a white head. The aroma is heavy on the basil, but also shows the lemon and pepper up front. The ginger and peach are there, just not as prevalent. There is some light malt underneath and some spiciness. Medium rough body with a light amount of modestly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the basil and ginger spice taking over about everything. There is some smooth zesty lemon and pale lightly toasted malt. The finish is powdery, floral and spice. I didn’t taste any of the peach, that was only on the aroma for me. This seems like it would be great for food which was the initial intention.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very lemony with lots of herbs showing up. Flavor is again a little lemon juice with some big basil and ginger notes. None of the flavors really over powers but I think that’s ok b’c if they were more pronounced it would take away anything else the beer was trying to offer. Deffinatly unique. Like taking a drink of a fresh herb garden.
