Bottle thanks to beastiefan. Pours a cloudy yellow with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus, lemon zest, ginger. Thin mouthfeel with a nice citrus, ginger, spruce and nice sweet finish, good. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 28, 2013
22oz bottle shared by beastie @RBWG-JAX-thin white-hazy yellow. A-ginger, lemon. T-sweet lt malt, quickly overtaken by ginger, lemon/basil, spice hops. Interesting. adnielsen (10605) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Pours a fairly clear yellow appearance wi a frothy white head. The basil is very potent in the aroma and the ginger isn’t far behind. There’s also some citrusy and spicy notes to the nose. A bit chewy, cracker malty, huge basil spicy, a bit salty, tangy, light citrusy, moderate ginger flavor. This baby is way over the top for me to drink on its own. Maybe it would be better paired with food. alexsdad06 (10284) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle shared by phaleslu. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have herbs favoring basil, citrus, additional fruits, and spices, some caramel, lightly toasted and grass. The flavor is a bit softer than the nose. Decent, perhaps given a different setting I ma have enjoyed this more.

22 oz. bottle from a local STL trade. Pours a semi-cloudy gold color with a small white head. The aroma explodes with all the spices and fruits promised in the description: ginger and basil lead the way, with lemon and peach, pale malts, and other herbs. The flavor is a milder version of the same. Light-bodied, with a dry, spicy, fresh-feeling mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Not for everybody, but I dug it. 22oz bottle, shared by phaleslu. Totally hazy, pale yellow color. Good thin white head. Bits of lace. Awesome ginger, lemon peel, floral aroma. Light thai-style spice. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Lighter citrus, good lemon orange flavor. Nice zesty, little sweet, moderate bitter. Really enjoyed this. Pretty refreshing, even drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - JUL 22, 2013
Bottle during RBWG 2013. Herbal, Asian herbs, aroma with some spice. Breadiness, light spice, and more herbs on the flavor. Not bad. Strykzone (7308) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Bomber from TWCP. I rolled it to unseat the yeast sediment. A nice fluffy off white head has decent retention. The beer is dingy golden brown and is hazy. The aroma is herbal with ginger, spices, and peach. Ginger and basil lead the flavors. Lemon is noted more in the after taste and is fairly subtle. The finish is ginger again. Malts and hops are scarce and this beer is all about the additional ingredients. I would love to see what the chefs did with this. vyvvy (6399) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - OCT 29, 2012
An interesting beer that was quite a winner for me. Pours light golden yellow with a bit of haze to it and a white head. The aroma is heavy on the basil, but also shows the lemon and pepper up front. The ginger and peach are there, just not as prevalent. There is some light malt underneath and some spiciness. Medium rough body with a light amount of modestly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the basil and ginger spice taking over about everything. There is some smooth zesty lemon and pale lightly toasted malt. The finish is powdery, floral and spice. I didn’t taste any of the peach, that was only on the aroma for me. This seems like it would be great for food which was the initial intention.
