An interesting beer that was quite a winner for me. Pours light golden yellow with a bit of haze to it and a white head. The aroma is heavy on the basil, but also shows the lemon and pepper up front. The ginger and peach are there, just not as prevalent. There is some light malt underneath and some spiciness. Medium rough body with a light amount of modestly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the basil and ginger spice taking over about everything. There is some smooth zesty lemon and pale lightly toasted malt. The finish is powdery, floral and spice. I didn’t taste any of the peach, that was only on the aroma for me. This seems like it would be great for food which was the initial intention. 22oz bottle, shared by phaleslu. Totally hazy, pale yellow color. Good thin white head. Bits of lace. Awesome ginger, lemon peel, floral aroma. Light thai-style spice. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Lighter citrus, good lemon orange flavor. Nice zesty, little sweet, moderate bitter. Really enjoyed this. Pretty refreshing, even Leighton (22814) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle at RBWG. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, white fia head. Big herbal hop nose, pepper. Lots of prominent, herbal hops, spruce and pine. Medum bodied with fine carbonation. phaleslu (10898) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 4, 2013
22 oz. bottle from a local STL trade. Pours a semi-cloudy gold color with a small white head. The aroma explodes with all the spices and fruits promised in the description: ginger and basil lead the way, with lemon and peach, pale malts, and other herbs. The flavor is a milder version of the same. Light-bodied, with a dry, spicy, fresh-feeling mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Not for everybody, but I dug it. bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Pours a hazy light yellow gold color with a finger of fizz. On the nose its heavy ginger with light touches of lemon and spicy herbal pepper. The flavors are similar to the nose with a heavy ginger beginning that opens up into a slightly floral spicy mid palate that slowly bitters out into a semidry finish. Would be a great food beer for sure... I could use a little more backbone overall but it was a good beer Id like to try again.

This bottle was sent to me by Strykzone. Thanks Dave. It poured a cloudy gold with a very aggressive off-whte head and a lot of lacing rings. Nose of spices with ginger dominating. Medium in body. Lively carbonated mouth feel. The flavor is dominated by the spices and there is lemon to go with the ginger. Some fruit appears in the finish. Quite tasty and unique. thegreenrooster (4627) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very lemony with lots of herbs showing up. Flavor is again a little lemon juice with some big basil and ginger notes. None of the flavors really over powers but I think that’s ok b’c if they were more pronounced it would take away anything else the beer was trying to offer. Deffinatly unique. Like taking a drink of a fresh herb garden. jandd1983 (4689) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - DEC 2, 2012
It poured a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was of grass, ginger, malts, spice and peaches. The taste was similar and quite unique. A very different but enjoyable beer. alexsdad06 (11223) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle shared by phaleslu. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have herbs favoring basil, citrus, additional fruits, and spices, some caramel, lightly toasted and grass. The flavor is a bit softer than the nose. Decent, perhaps given a different setting I ma have enjoyed this more.
