Golden, thin head, fizzy. Dry, spicy finish. The pepper is complex and varied. The pear juice perhaps countered the pepper. A refreshing taste that faded as it warmed. A good starter and a good American version of the type. jayzz (481) - Illinois, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Has a peppered citrus aroma and a malty citrus flavor with a slight sweet finish. Unusual with a very complex combination of Finish’s. OLDMANDUSTY (70) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Poured from bottle light straw color. Aroma of pear, coriander, biscuit, and light pepper and yeast funk. Tastes pear, light cereal, slight sweet orange rind, and a beautiful light pepper on the back of the palate. Amazing for the price point! seymour (2091) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Tasted at the 1st annual Urban Chestnut - Wolpertinger festival in St. Louis, MO, USA from tap into sampler beer boot. Poured a hazy golden color with huge, moussy white foam, lasting with excellent Belgian lace. Highly aromatic: earthy, flowery, citrusy hops with spicy saison yeast esters/phenols, apparently accentuated by actual citrus zest and pepper. Well-played 4 Hands. Flavors of mild malt, biscuits, crackers, refined tangy hops flavor, layers of yeast complexity. Light body for so much flavor. Very tart, dry, bittersweet, Belgian-style "digestive" finish. Well-crafted and delicious. I want some more. bobbyberbiglia (188) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - DEC 30, 2012

Shared draft at the brewpub. Light wheat coloring, moderately hazy but not opaque. There’s a definite, yet mellow pear essence right up front, but this settles into a very nice, easy-to-drink beer. Very nice, full-flavored, yet light beer to drink on a hot day. (#4501, 2/25/2012) thomas15 (689) - Alabama, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Funked up pepper and yeast and light background fruits. Borderline gueuzey. Murky ass gold. White ring, foreboding in a good way. Very smooth fruit married to the goal product stille showcasing notable saison earthy yeast and pepper. Really fun. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2013
Bottle shared by my buddy Blake, you rock brotha! Lots of citrus happening here, with some slight pear and floral presence as well. Really refreshing and easy to drink. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - JUN 19, 2013
The appearance is a pure hazy yellow color with a medium white head that fades to a thin layer on top of the liquid. The aroma of this beer hits you strongly in the nose, but it is a pleasant whiff of sour fruit (specifically pear), and the taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, which grows on your tongue, with the former (unfortunately) overpowering the latter. The palate, however, is a very pleasant combination of an average carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and a slightly sour finish. kansascityCW (109) - kansas city, Missouri, USA - APR 23, 2014
Pours a beautiful bright orange with a smaller head than I would expect based on other saisons I’ve had. Light pear juice aroma, definitely some orange. Some ripe banana. Taste has that Belgian yeast quality to it along with some citrus. Not as peppery as I thought it would be. Overall this is an excellent saison.
