bomber shared that poured a dark brown with tan head. this is more complex than you would imagine. ok starting with the aroma, mild smoke, roasted malts, rye spice, sweetness of the syrup, a little ashy. now when you mix this all together you get this wonderful beer. you get the roasted malts and rye spice blended with the smoked flavor and then the sweet of the syrup on the end. very nice and very tasty. thanks mo JulienHuxley (6002) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 26, 2016
Pint on tap. Dark brown black pour with thin tan head. Aroma is very roasty, smoky, light ashy notes. Taste is smoky, mineral, very roasted. Palate is med-light bodied with good carbonation. Good. fuzzcro (295) - Illinois, USA - FEB 7, 2016
Empressive. Sweet smoke..no bitter. Nice aroma. Very smooth. Could be bolder but still a nice smoked porter overall. That1Guy (2241) - Colorado, USA - JAN 21, 2016
Bomber crushed with my Jakebra. For whatever reason, green olives dominates the aroma for me. Flavor is very different and has a very pleasant smoky meat aspect to it. Not crazy about it, but drinkable. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 24, 2015
Enjoyed at the brewpub, pours a very dark brown with a red hue and a tan head, the aroma has a slight amount of smoke and has a nice amount of sweetness coming through too, the flavor has a smokey front end with a chocolate like finish, really interesting.

Bomber from Jim’s in Mundelein -- bought by KRISTIN. Enjoyed by all. Very dark brown pour. Smoke is not in the top 5 attributes .. Bakers chocolate. Caramel. Maple. Yum! Great choice!! 14.6 ARH (1141) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2015
On tap, poured into a "mini-hefe" glass (12-16oz?). The aroma is dry with notes of smoke, maple syrup, and and underlying chocolate coffee and bread crust. It’s a rich, dark cola-caramel hue with a dense, tan foam head that has good retention and a light lace. The taste is a medium sweet with a slightly less intense bitter. The beer’s texture is smooth and creamy with a fuzzy carbonation and a medium body. Flavors of light maple syrup and roasty chocolate are most noticeable with notes of light rye and dark fruit poking through. The finish is crisp and clean with a spicy rye grain and a developing maple flavor. The aftertaste is remarkable fresh clean with a chalky clove and a lightly smokey, dry maple. Draft at baileys range. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Some solid malt notes on the nose. A bit of smoky malt on the tongue but its not as pronounced as I hoped. Finishes clean. Solid but not spectacular. crossovert (14233) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2015
Draft. Brown pour, a nice dry porter, hints of vanilla, not all that smoky, just a pleasant dirnk. Christpuncher (3215) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 26, 2015
