UPDATED: AUG 2, 2014 Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma is vanilla and alcohol. Taste is sweet at first then blends to a real funky earthy taste. A very interesting beer for sure. Glad I got to try it. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Bottle. Orange pour with tan head. Coffee, herbal and green aromas. Weird coffee flavors, some triple tones. Tmoney99 (14501) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Bottle shared by phaleslu. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex wood, coffee, earthy sweet aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration with a small bourbon alcohol bite. This is a complex beer. phaleslu (10276) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 17, 2014
22 oz. bottle via in-person trade in St. Louis. Pours a cloudy, darker orange color with an off-white head. Coffee is all the way throughout this, with vanilla, dried apricot, bourbon, oak, toast, sugar, and coconut. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a toasty, sweet mouthfeel. I’m surprised at how well this works, and how well they complement one another, and how well the Psycho Killer next to it works. Great experiment, and I hope to see more collaborations like this come out of 4 Hands. alexsdad06 (10436) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 15, 2014
22 oz bottle shared by phaleslu. Pours a hazy amber brown color with a small, bubbly off white head. The aroma and flavor have big coffee, bourbon, oak, light hints of honey, vanilla adds creamy character, not in any way like most tripels I have had.

Bomber to snifter (shared by phaleslu). Looks good for a coffee Tripel; a cloudy brownish orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of coffee and oak with a bit of roast and a mildly bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. A bit of bitterness from the coffee roast. Enjoyable, but I like Psycho Killer a lot more. The coffee really takes over the beer and barrel treatment. RobertDale (6483) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JUL 10, 2014
Sample at SRBG 2014. Pours a hazy dark gold with an average white head. Aroma of fruit, coffee, bourbon, and yeast. Taste is fruit, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, yeast, and oak. Interesting in a very good way. vyvvy (6486) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Had this at a tasting and it tasted like a ton of coffee. Thankfully I waited and rated this sharing in a smaller group, because it tasted so much better. It poured golden orange with an off-white head. The aroma is fairly sweet with heavy caramel, vanilla, mild coffee, light banana, some oak and bourbon. It has a medium / full body with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with vanilla, caramel, coffee and oak roughness. The finish is fairly rich with heavy caramel and lingering coffee. Really nice. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Bottle tasted at RBSG. Moderately hazy golden amber color. Thin off-white head. Some bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Good creamy texture. Full feel. Nice vanilla, coffee flavors. Light spice, some banana. Interesting mix of flavors that all work amazingly well. Moderate sweet taste. Light bitter. Nice light warmth. Awesome stuff. jtclockwork (16602) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 24, 2014
