Taste: chocolate, toasted coconut, rich sweet malts, some coffee in the background. Bold coconut shavings, sweet cocoa nose. Black/brown, mostly opaque, tan foamy head, some lace. Full body. An after dinner stout. Scipio (1315) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - JAN 15, 2018
Thank you to Chris for this very thoughtful gift. Pours a very deep brown with a medium, foamy, dark tan head. The aroma is as advertised, containing chocolate, coconut, and some more subtle coffee. This one is sweet. It has a quick sharp burst followed by a mild, prolonged sweetness. Chocolate and coconut dominate, while underneath I find roasted malt, coffee, and a touch of peanut butter. Short coconut aftertaste. Medium in body, thinner in texture, and a lot of carbonation in here for a stout. I enjoyed this. Its pretty easy drinking and it helps that the coconut agrees with me. katrinaez (2412) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 14, 2018
Dark brown and with light white foam. Aroma has chocolate, coffee, and a bit of the coconut suntan lotion aroma. Sweet chocolate upfront and then coconut sinks in at the end, only a little bit of the suntan lotion taste. Bitter malts in taste and on the palate. 4/8/2016 -- from backlog notes: Milk, coconut, coffee. A nice combo. Not too sweet, not sugary. Seems like a lighter body than the horchata. Kind of a more soft texture. Solid. balloonbuffoon (810) - - JAN 7, 2018
22floz bottle, it's fresh but cannot verify date if present, $7, pint glass. A dark beer with a tan head, and milk chocolate and coconut aroma. The palate is medium in body and chalky as flavors of semi-sweet chocolate, dry creamer, and coconut essences intertwine. Decent, but doesn't come together fully to be good, good.

From Notes. Enjoyed at Doug’s house after braving the weather on December 13. 22 oz bottle shared with Doug. The pour is an interesting medium/dark brown with a thick cap of light tan head and a pretty good bit of lace as it falls down. The aroma is full of coconut and coffee. The coconut is definitely oily. The roasted coffee works a little bit with the chocolate and this is pretty decent. The flavor matches this pretty well. The chocolate is sweet and milky with a nice coconut oil and a growing roasty coffee. This one is interesting. The mouth feel is a little thin. It’s more of a lighter medium body with a soft, yet bright carbonation and a lingeringly chocolate and coffee forward coconut oil. This is interesting for sure. 7 3 7 3 13 Strykzone (7855) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2017
Bomber. Almost black with some amber. A smaler beige head. A robust aroma of chocolate and coconut. Smells like a Mounds bar combined with malted milk balls. The flavor begins with coconut and roast. Some nuts, too. Some coffee and fruit. Quite good. Bif (2422) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - DEC 16, 2017
On tap. Pours a deep brown with a fair head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and trace of coconut. taste of coffee, bit of chocolate and coconut. Slight bitterness an a clean finish. Medium body, smooth with a subtle roasted feel. Tasty. rxeight (3344) - Illinois, USA - DEC 11, 2017
22 oz bomber. Cocoa, with little sweetness. Some coconut meat. Very slight coffee. It’s thin. I know it’s 5%, but I need some body. drfabulous (9018) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - DEC 9, 2017
22 ounce bottle from the box. Big dark pour with a lot of chocolate and coffee to it. Not as much coconut. Very rich and big for such a low ABV.
