Columbus Tomahawk Zeus is the primary hop variety in War Hammer as well as the inspiration for the name. We use a combination of Pacific Northwest hops to create layers of pungent flavors. A generous malt bill adds biscuit and honey notes while allowing the hops to take center stage. War Hammer pours golden in color with aromas of pineapple, mango, tangerine, resin, & slight earthy notes. Drink fresh!

22oz bomber, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a slightly hazy copper body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up a cool grassy, malty cracker and pine hop sensation that Im liking. The aroma is smooth and only slightly boozy at the end of the draw. The taste begins with resiny pine hops, modestly juicy citrus and tropical fruity hops riding above a smooth sweet malty base. The hops grow in bitterness and resiny hop notes to midway as a light cracker malt sensation bubbles to the surface. Solid brew

Draft to snifter. Looks good; a fairly transparent burnt apricot with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of bitter and fruity hops and a bit of biscuit with a big bittersweet malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with a sticky medium full-bodied backbone. A bit boozy. A solid bittersweet malt bomb.
