Bomber from Whole Foods PM. Pours hazy, deep copper with 1-finger, frothy off-white head. Nose is intense resiny hops pine, tropical fruit, melon. Tastes caramel malty, somewhat syrupy, with heavy pine, tangerine, honewdew. This one is a behemoth. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 17, 2015
Deep gold pour with a fluffy white head. Very malty nose with some grapefuit dancing around. The malt continues into the flavor, honey, ruby red grapefruit. More malt than I would prefer in this style. phaleslu (10913) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Holy smokes, this was released at last weekend’s Lupulin Carnival and I - not even having attended - am the first to rate it? Shame on you, festival-goers. Shame on you. Draft at Bailey’s Range. Pours a clear, deep golden color with a small white head. The aroma is big and fruity- citrusy hops, pineapple, and a host of tropical fruits on top of a caramel malt backbone. The flavor doesn’t pack quite the same punch; citrusy hops, caramel malts, pineapple, and crackers. Surprisingly dry, especially late. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Good.
