Dark, sweet grain malts, dark molasses, straw, grass. Clear, dark gold, small, creamy, off-white head. Light bitter. More bitter grain and cereal malts, set straw, grass, floral notes, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent for the style. Keg at the brewpub, Manly.

Clear brown/amber appearance with off-white head. Light malt and bread aroma. Light sweet palate followed by mild malt flavours. Hints of raisins. Short finish with no outstanding highlights.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2017 Bottle. Dark but clear copper, with perfectly formed mocha head and heavy laced. Aromas of soft citrus flower hops, light fruit cake elements and pear. Roasted caramel malts, fruit mix (sultanas, raisins, glacé cherries) and a quite bitter finish full of berries and earthy hops. Nose shows bready malt and light raisin notes along with a subtle syrupy note.
Flavours include bready malt, spicy and earthy hops, soft toasty notes.
