Copper poor with a a loose head and minimal carbonation. Big flavours of sweet malt toffee and caramel. Medium bodied.
(Botte) Clear coppery amber with slight loose head. Litte aroma - toffee, bread, hints of apples. Light body, quite fizzy carbonation. Taste is a little thin. It is sweet, but not cloyingly so, caramel with some dark chocolate notes, and very little else going on. Easy drinking but pretty uninspiring. Pours a dark amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toffee with some bread and biscuit. Taste is medium sweet leading to a smooth malty finish. Not bad. Davros (3258) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 9, 2013
Pours dark amber with a small head.
Nose shows some bready malt, sweet melanoidin notes and caramel. Nice.
Bready and biscuity malt as flavours along with a grainy note you’d usually find in lighter german styles. Quite light malt for an oktoberfest.
Could use a bit more carbonation. hawthorne00 (4069) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 4, 2013
Bottle. Clear amber with an off white head. Toffee aroma with grass and some chocolate. And so it tastes. Rich but not cloying. Moderate bitterness, slightly spicy at the end.

Bottle from Plonk. Dark amber/copper colour, medium frothy head, bready/biscuity malt dominates the aroma, subtle citrus hops, malt dominated flavour as well. Quite true to style. Nice enough. mkel07 (6240) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 9, 2013
On tap at Embassy Hotel. Vibrant looking in the glass. There is a slight tartness in the flavour. Overall pretty good. davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Bottle from Swords Vic Market. Aromas of grain, sweet taste, with average length. M_Sack (762) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 24, 2013
Tap @ Sydney craft beer festival. Deep gold/copper with cream coloured frothy head. Minimal lager yeast and malt aroma. Citrus flavours up front with lager yeast, dominate malt, nice sweet and slight chocolate/caramel flavours and a nice hoppy clean up. Clean, fresh mouthfeel. Nice beer. Get me a pork knuckle!
