330mL bottle, BeerBud Advent Pack. Rich amber with foamy head and moderate carbonation. Refreshing piney resinous stonefruits aroma. Malty flavours topped off with caramel and citrus. Good length and balance overall.

5.1%ABV. American Pale Ale. Tapped out a clear dark amber. 14°SRM. The nose has some righteously roasted malt aroma that was just inviting. Really opened up the palate for the first mouthful. Mouthfeel was soapy and thick with a well balanced carbonation. The palate had flavors of browned wheat toast, honey puffs, toasted hazelnuts, and toffee. The finish was hoppy and medium-long with pronounced hop character represented by pine, grass and resin. Faintly hyssop with some nice fresh herb bitterness. Not enough to be an IPA, but almost getting there. Quite unexpected. Goes on Favorites List!

Sweeter end of citrus, a bit of floral shot through with lime on a brass/ caramel malt and lemon coming through at the end. Caramel increases as it warms.Light body. Good stuff.

Bottle from Plonk (March 2015). Dark amber/copper, fine off-white head, rich malty aroma, subtle citrus/grapefruit bitterness, sweet toffee-like malt, medium body, slick texture, quite good.

hank37 (194) - banksia grove, AUSTRALIA - JUL 7, 2015
Burnt orange with small head. Slight grapefruit and peach aromas. Full bodies with some malt to chew on and plenty of tropical fruit at the front. Short lived bitterness that isn’t unpleasant. Solid pale.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Floral hop/pine nose. Looks the goods, golden/bronze beer with solid white two finger head. A few lazy bubbles. Medium body, spritzy with a faint malt taste. Finish is bittersweet lemon. Delicious, well balanced.
