Was expecting a lot from this but bitterly dissappointed. Stale hoppy aroma, metallic drawl that lingers for an eternity. Heavy. Boozy.

Pours almost a light brown with a nice head. Not much aroma but pleasant. Almost a hint of orange. Light on front of tongue with a sting of bitterness on back of tongue. Would have with light meal, something not too spicy.

Pours a beautiful amber colour.Real nice flavour. Great use of hops and malt..
Great amount of bitterness at the end and sits real well as an aftertaste.
Really nice well rounded beer. Refreshing ale, pick up at a case at Dan Murphys and enjoy, won’t disappoint.
Bathory (458) - Kverneland, NORWAY - DEC 25, 2013
Pours a coppery colour with a small, short lived white head. The aroma is mostly grass, pine and some citric notes. The smell is a bit weak. Taste is pine, citrus and some toffee. Aftertaste has an avarage bitterness for the style. Light body, maybe a bit watery. Avarage carbonation. A really avarage pale ale imo.
22415brewery (379) - Washington, USA - DEC 9, 2013
Pours a medium amber, slight reddish overtones, minimal head that leaves a decent lacing. Faint aromas of light pine, citrus, grapefruit pith, and slightly sweet caramel. The malt is clean, some light caramel sweetness, but primarily balanced with a firm bitterness. Yeast esters are kept in check and this beer is fairly clean. The hops unfortunately do not push well through the flavor, but do provide a smooth and clean bitterness. Probably one of the better examples of the APA style from Australia. dstu4876 (5) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 8, 2013 does not count
Tinted amber colour with an off-white head which unfortunately didn’t linger as long as I’d have liked. Your nose is hit with a rush of fruity smells, most notably grapfruit which unfortunately overpowers the pines and lychee that the bottle itself advertises. Tangy, grapfruity taste with a surprisingly bitter aftertaste. Nice and refreshing on a hot summers day!! StevieT (2013) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 31, 2013
Fruity aroma, clean crisp taste with a mild hint of hops. A great beer for an arvo session. HULK777 (599) - - OCT 19, 2013
Fruity caramel aroma. Taste of citrus, exotic fruits, and grape. Bitter aftertaste. Xenon2000 (6) - - OCT 10, 2013 does not count
Competent ale, sessionable and quite enjoyable, without being overly impressive. Not quite good enough to stand out from the crowd of quality pale ales on the market today, but certainly a long way from the mediocre end of the pack. Would drink again.
