A colorful deep Ruby Amber appearance. Aromas of Pine and Grapefruit overlay a malt background. On the palate full bodied malty flavors with a tight and bitter finish.

Reasonably tasty beer, quenches the thirst, would have again. I would try another beer from 4 Pines. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home. Pours hazy Amber with a small thin with head that dissipates quickly. Aroma has some mild citrus and floral notes. Flavour is mostly citrus and biscuit malt but also some metallic hints that are not pleasant. Also has some of those cleaning fluid flavours that are common in mega swill. Taste is quite strongly bitter with some malt sweetness. Palate is reasonably full with spritz from.carbonation. Overall not great but not horrible. Not something to drink again. Quite disappointed with this as from memory was better at the Manly brewery a couple of years ago.

Tap at the Birmingham Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served cold in a cold bar. Standard stuff.
