From bottle in porter glass. Pours black with tan head and hints of choc and coffee on the nose as with many stouts. There is a bit more smokiness here and a crisp dry finish. Get this bad boy into space! drjoeng (1418) - SINGAPORE - DEC 11, 2015
5.1%ABV. Dry Stout. Leighton (22555) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2015
Tapped out a rich black. 40°SRM
Mouthfeel was like ice coffee with low carbonation. Palate had flavors of coffee, toffee, butterscotch, bamboo charcoal, burnt toast, dark wheat toast, black bread and some faint dark fruit flavors. But this was predominantly a smoky flavor profiled ale with some nice piquant hints of peaty smokiness.
Mild hops in the in the finish.

Light bodied with average carbonation. Toasted brown bread in the finish, some milk chocolate, moderate dirt and earth bitterness. Fair. Marc280 (165) - - NOV 14, 2015
Right from the first wiff you can tell this is going to be a good one. Malty and toasty aroma with beautiful rich coffee, caramel and chocolate taste. Fairly dry finish. I’d happily drink plenty of these! jonas (8160) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 2, 2015

On tap at 4 Pines Brew Pub, Manly on 12th September 2015. Sepia brown with thick yellowy-white foam. Sweet roast malt aroma. Roasty malts in-mouth with Christmas pudding and hints of cherry. A lactic touch. Creamy maltiness dominates a rather sweet finish. Full bodied with an engaging texture. Patersoi (180) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 6, 2015

Nice looking beer, lacing completely covers the glass. All else is very subdued, light. If you want a big, meaty stout, go elsewhere. TedE (1498) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2015
330ml bottle into glass. Chocolate milk nose. Totally opaque black, tan head. Quite thin body. Bitter cocoa finish. Easy drinking.
