’SPACE BEER’
A dry Irish style stout, presenting almost black, bearing a generous tan head. The aroma profile is of coffee, chocolate and caramel malts. These are matched on the pallet with a full bodied, smooth finish and a balancing bitterness. Currently being tested to become the first certified ‘space beer’ in the world! Clear dark black - red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, chocolate, coffee, dusty malt, light to moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dusty malt, bread, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170617]

Craft Clerkenwell. Bottle thanks to big Dave’s antipodean haul. Cheers mate. Opaque black brown beer, good tan head. Palate is light and airy. Semi dry. Slightly tangy dark malts. Whisper of candy fruits and violets. Light dry finish. Interesting if a bit thin.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell - London. Big thanks to Big Dave! Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. Some milk chocolate present, a bit of light rubber, earth, mild char. Light bodied with average carbonation. Toasted brown bread in the finish, some milk chocolate, moderate dirt and earth bitterness. Fair.

Bottle split at Craft Clerko, big thanks to Dave Wingman Willis, 27/01/14. Mid black with a decent tan head. Nose is cocoa, sweet notes, light plastic, earthy. Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, light roast. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying closure. Ok stout, nothing to get overly excited about though, easy drinking stuff.
