Tap. Pours crystal clear reddish amber, small off-white head, dissipates fairly quickly leaving decent lacing. Aroma is caramel and biscuit. Flavor is medium sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body. Not bad, but a pretty vanilla-standard old style amber ale. Plain and simple. mikeschuld (57) - Bozeman, Montana, USA - NOV 1, 2011
Spicy light hop and malt aroma. Very little head. Nice clear amber red. No sweetness but a lot of other malt character that sticks with you long after the drink. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Poured at the brewery. Light hazed dark amber, thin beige head. Aroma is bready and toasty. Taste has mostly sweet malt with toast again, light fruit and floral. Well balanced. Easy drinking, solid.
