Bottle, 33cL. Home. A sparkling clear golden fizzy beer with a medium white foamy head ; average retention ; ok lacing. Cereal, roast, herb, fruit (citrus), flower. Medium dry bitter refreshing ; sweet note. Light to medium body, average texture, good carbonation, herbal fruity dry finish. Overall, a good one !

A Belgian ale of which I wouldn’t immediately suspect there’s something inherently different about its malt bill. There’s perhaps some extra spice, but the body and flavour don’t seem to take on much of the spelt qualities. Or is spelt that inconspicuous? Regardless, a decent Belgian ale, just above blond, with a very light bitterness and decent bubble, but a quite underdeveloped fermentation profile. It’s okay. (33 CL bottle from the brewery)

330ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Orange, persistent tight head. Some apple in the aroma, sweet and herbal, a bit fruity, a bit sticky and mashy. That’s also there in the taste - dirty raw malts, a bit sweet. Dull palate, a bit slick. Finish sweet and malty, some fruitines, but a bit sickly.

Malts and floral hops, a mild taste of yeast. Slightly sweet, but countered with a tinge of bitterness. Overall, an ok beer, but nothing memorable.
