Ernest (7693) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 8, 2015
Draft at 49th State.
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cracker), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
A very drinkable blonde...crisp flavor balance and clean aromatics. Not all the way to exciting, but really solid. Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 16, 2014
The basic blonde is, more or less, nothing special, but I found the blueberry/blackberry hop notes and mellow malt balance worked well. In a roster of multiple 4+ beers, this isn’t a highlight, but it is good for what it is. nickd717 (4679) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Draft at the brewery. Draft at the brewpub. Clear bright blonde color with a small white head. Honey and grain on the aroma; subtle but nice. Honey flavor, like a helles base, with a grassy malt finish. Clean and crisp mouthfeel. Really solid blonde. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUN 15, 2014
Draft @ 49th State: Poured a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is light hops and malt. Taste had a soapiness to it, light hops, and fruity/floral. frogbandit (2) - - JUL 26, 2013 does not count
This healy beer is damned good. I don’t usually like blondes, but this one is good. It ranks with sante fe brewing’s dirty blonde
savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUL 31, 2012
On tap @ 49th State. Slightly cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light toasty malt and fruity yeast esters. Flavor is some sweet malt with a very light hop bitterness for balance. Light body with average carbonation. Nice beer, a bit sweet for a blonde but good malt flavor.
