COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A brew with a rich golden colour, full body and a balanced rounded finish. Sweet and toasty malt notes abound from a unique blend of pale and coloured malts. The balance between the residual sweetness of the malts and the character of the hops selected is rounded out by the floral hop notes of the late addition aromatic Goldings variety, a very traditional ale hop. This ale we like to describe as accessible, easy to drink, with a modest.

Gangstergafje (1384) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2016
The beer has a light amber/golden color. The beer pours a normal amount of soft white foam The foam remains on top of the beer quite long. After a while, a soft drape of foam remains. The smell of the beer is nice. It has a familiar Irish strawberry aroma. I know this aroma from Irish ales and Baltic ales, and i like it. I wonder what causes this aroma and flavor. The aroma also contains some slicht hoppy citrus notes. There isn’t much else going on in the smell. The taste is slightly less than the smell. At first, I taste the strawberry sweetness and a little later some almondy tones. There is also an alcohol bitterness and a touch of roasted barley. The beer could have had a little bit more gas.

330ml bottle at home from carry out clongriffen. Amber with white head. Light perfume floral nose. Grass, hay flavour with a strong bitterness. Highly carbonated which leaves a sweet red berry aftertaste.

3.3
humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - JUN 21, 2014
(on tap @ Bijou, Rathgar, Dublin) Pours a clear golden with lively carbonation and a creamy white head that seems to last forever. Points for appearance. Aroma is pleasantly ale’ish with notes of grass and a hint of green apple. Oily texture, medium body and a grassy, slightly bitter finish. Flavour is leaning toward the grassy bitter side without too much of a malt prominence. Decent and refreshing.
