This beer is absolutely fantastic. Passionfruit meets coriander and Belgian yeasts. I have had this on tap and in bottles now. Super easy drinkability. This went down like water, but in a delicious chuggable college way. Lemony. The entire beer was gone I’m under 5 minutes. Oh so good.

Good wheat beer for the summer. However, is an acquired taste that takes a little taking to from traditional wheat beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

8/25/17. 12oz bottle. I swear I’ve had AND rated this before, but oh well. Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head. Tropical fruit aroma, hint of spice. Good flavor, tropical fruits, spice, cream. Tasty.

Decent. Average witbier and it’s what you would expect. I didn’t get much spice.

A very solid wit bier. Like a beligan wit, but the yeastyness is understated and a splash of fruit tops it off. Tried at Bad Apple in Chicago in 2017 with Josh, Brandon and Dave.

Cloudy straw color with a modest off white head and loads of chunks in the last few ounces of the pour. Tropical fruit and sweet sour (rhubarb) scents. Light sweet start that is quickly washed away by a citric/sour punch. Hints of spice and lime. I really didn’t think I would like this one, but it is a quenching summer fruit brew that I’m actually going to finish. 1/14

Hazy golden with a large white foamy cap. Big spicy citrusy nose that’s earthy and herbal but also has a lot of semisweet orange peel bitterness and coriander and black pepper. Crisp and gently tart flavor that’s orange citrusy, peppery, wheaty, passion fruity and crisp. Really kinda neat and fruity and gently tart.

Bottle - small foamy head, hazy medium straw color, good size fruity (passion fruit apparently) aroma and flavor, medium wheat backbone, mild yeasty spice in the finish, very refreshing and pretty good overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Pours cloudy orange. Smells lemonade. The palate is light and crips. The taste is lemon. And a little fruity. Malty sweet finish with a little tartness.

2015 BJCP Category: 24A Witbier

AROMA: Lime peel and some passionfruit. Sweet floral notes. Slightly tartness. 9/12

APPEARANCE: Pale banana yellow; extremely hazy. No visible sediment (or CO2). Small white foam almost completely dissipates. 1/3

FLAVOR: Mild tartness (akin to lemonade) up front which grows stronger throughout the swig. Passion fruit and lime are prominent; some coriander spice in the background (this could be considered a fruit or SHV brew). Solid wheat base and pale malt backbone. Innovative for the style. 17/20

MOUTHFEEL: Light body; smooth texture. Crisp, but not spastic. Refreshing with a mild fruity aftertaste. Lot of flavor for only 4.3%. 5/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Tasty, refreshing and sessionable. Controversial for the style. This would be great in cans. 8/10

TOTAL SCORE: 40/50

12 oz bottle. Pour is very hazy lemon-flesh yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet rock candy-malt, faint lemon notes, and light floral notes. Flavor is faintly tart with hints of lemon, light topical fruit notes, faint floral hops, and a slightly salty finish.
