meh - very lame beer. Most blond ale’s are. Had in Chicago, bottle. Much of what you expect of a blond

Bottle. Yellow orange pour. Nose of honey, yeasty biscuits and melon. Flavor was light fruits, biscuits and grainy goodness. This one really turned me on. Had it at the Hyatt at the Magnificent Mile. Now I’m looking for it in Milwaukee. One of the best beers I’ve had in a long time.

Sampler at Discount in Waukesha. Blah, even for style. Light fruit. Light corn. Shrug?

Very slightly hazy light golden under a thin foamy cap. Thick earthy blonde grain nose that’s bready and lightly blonde bitter. Crisp semi dry flavor that’s blonde bready, lightly grassy, very light cantaloupe fruitiness and a crisp finish. Clean but just a bit boring.

From a bottle at a restaurant. Pours very slightly cloudy medium gold. Creamy slightly spicy initial flavor with a bit of hops in the middle and a clean finish. Like a good but slightly hoppy Belgian ale. Not amazing but good.

With Z, on a hot Florida Sunday late afternoon, cigar in hand, pours a very light yellow golden color with a small white head. Nose is light spice but otherwise flat . Taste is very light spice , grainy and lacks any true flavor, but it is a blond. Finish is light and bland. Bland Blond, back to the IPA and DIPAs. Quaff Score 4 / 10

Bottle. Pours a golden orange with a white head and aroma of slight hops and malt. Taste is light, grains, malt, bready notes along with some hops into the finish.

Draft at Gino’s East on Dearborn. Aroma is muted, just a bit of Noble Hops and citrus. Light bodied with prickly carbonation. Some grainy malt over a grassy Saaz hop profile. Pilsnerish. Bland overall but far from bad. Crisp, clean, dry finish.

Golden body with a small white head. The aroma is of light caramel malt and some mellow saaz hops. The flavor adds a bit of lemony citrus. Pretty refreshing on a hot day.

12 oz. bottle from notes. Pours a hazy golden with a hint of orange and a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have dry grass, pale toasted malts, doughy bread, mild florals with a hint of pepper. Pretty bland for my tastes, but I guess it is an ok blond though I probably won’t have it again.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle picked up at Binnys, clear yellow-orange pour with white head, aroma brought bread, grass, spice, saaz-type hops into some vanilla, honey, some touch of crackers. Taste is a mix of grass, bread, biscuit, vanilla, some spice, yeast, some spicy notes, finishing clean, dry. Decent.
