COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gringolandia is an affectionate term used by many Latinos to refer to the United States. We’re using the term to paint a picture of our collective 5 Rabbit experience as a Latin-based company in the exciting melting pot that is 21st century Chicagoland, and to brew beers that reflect that experience. It’s our tribute to the American craft beer movement.

Chudwick (3481) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Draft at Urban Artifact - nose is wheat and tropical. Refreshing and light but flavorful. Balanced.

Hazy amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of wheat, grain/hops, & citrus zest; Flavor of slight sweet malt/wheat, yeast, hops, and nice citrus (notably lemon); Crisp finish; Pretty decent.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2016 At the Boodles Actually pretty good for a style I’m not overly fond of. I think it was because it was malty and rich enough. Serving: Bottle

MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2015
Bottle from Jewel Osco, in Chicago. Pours a hazy yellow golden colour with a very thin head. Aroma is light citrus, bread. Taste is similar and wheat. Not a bad beer.

monkeychugg55 (1125) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - JUN 9, 2015
Hazy golden body with little to no head. The aroma is a slightly resinous and citrusy hops, with some bready pilsner malt. The flavor is about the same but adds a touch of lemony citrus. Not bad.

Strykzone (7848) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2015
12 ounce bottle. I rolled the bottle and loosened a lot of sediment. This is hazy white golden with a white head that doesn’t last long. I smell refreshing but light oranges. Wheat, too. A funky bitter flavor that includes zest. Wheat flavors and a hint of lemon. Noble hops that grow into dominance. Really pretty nice.

hombrepalo (1972) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 4, 2015
12oz bottle. Hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat, mild pine, light citrus and mild spices. Taste is thin and hoppy with wheat, light citrus and faint bitterness.

BeerBunker (966) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours murky yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is of wheat, citrus, and bread. Taste is of wheat, grass, and citrus. Has a very dry, bready finish to it. Lingering bready taste. Drinks very easy, and has a light body. Nothing phenomenal, but it does the job.

rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 12, 2015
bottle. Golden with one finger head. Rather bland wheat beer with a dry mildly hoppy finish. There’s nothing really wrong with this, but I can’t imagine who would seek it out.

3.8
DrnkMcDermott (3193) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Single bottle purchased at Binny’s beverage depot. Has a nice cheerful beery aroma under the cap, a fine combination of malt sweetness and German hop bitterness. A little bit hazy when poured in the glass with a stiff pillow of foam on top. It looks very similar to the Goose Island 312 wheat beer and the taste bears that out but there is a little more wheat spiciness to it and more use of aroma hops. A slightly salty tang toward the end but this is just a little more flavorful than the 312 yet only has a little bit more alcohol and is a fine locally-made session beer.
