COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gringolandia is an affectionate term used by many Latinos to refer to the United States. We’re using the term to paint a picture of our collective 5 Rabbit experience as a Latin-based company in the exciting melting pot that is 21st century Chicagoland, and to brew beers that reflect that experience. It’s our tribute to the American craft beer movement.

After staking out our Latin credentials with several exciting, ingredient-based beers in the “5″ series, we felt it was time to expand our range. These beers are our own interpretations of some popular craft beer styles, changed up a little to make them our own distinct beers different from anyone else’s.

Super Pils is a classic pilsner character in a big, bold beer that drinks like an IPA. Euro-pils character, but bolder. Cool-fermented with our house ale yeast for a clean, smooth flavor with just the barest hint of fruitines. Perfect balance of malt and hops in classic pils fashion—just stronger. Unfiltered for better body and foam.

For the most part this is a regular pilsner. They managed to cover the higher alcohol and keep the beer light.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated body slightly hazy yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt and bread dough. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Rated on 4-23-2017. The appearance of this bottled beer is a large white head that is mostly lasting, transparent yellow body, very slow rising carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, floral, juicy, grass, spicy, and malt. The flavor presents light-medium bitterness, fruity hops, grassy hops, quite sweet, malt, and somewhat crisp. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This is a rather easy drinking beer with the alcohol well hidden. It is more bitter/hoppy tasting than malty tasting and it has a lot of sweetness in the taste of it.

12 oz bottle from Sonoma Cellars in Delavan, WI, served a bit above fridge temp in a König Pils glass. Large head (average by pils standards) sits atop a medium clear gold body, decays slowly...honey-sweet-malt dominated nose, touches of sweet flowers, hints of apple...pretty sweet body, on the edge of being too sweet, but it feels like it all comes from the malt, a vague hint of caramelized sugar it with that solid pils malt...body is very full, carbonation low to moderate; this is almost the opposite of the Omnipollo pils I had just beforehand - heavy and sweet while that was bitter and light and frothy - and both go a little too far to those extremes, not having the balance to make them really good though both have some quality embedded I think. On the whole this too-sweet version wins out over the too-fizzy and dry example, just barely.

Approximately 7 oz. from a 12 oz. bottle, consumed on 7-20-16. Pours a hazy, pale golden with off-white head. Good lacing. Honeyed, juicy aroma. Nice, floral hops in the pleasant smell. Spicy, perfumed aroma and flavor. Sweet, tangy, honeyed, vegetal, saison-esque taste. Unremarkable and unmemorable palate effects. Overall, too sweet for my tastes and just not very good.

Draft @ Titanic. Pours slightly hazy golden color with white head. Bready and grassy aromas. Slightly sweet fruit flavor with cracker malt and grassy hops. Medium body with average carbonation.
