Tall bottle shared at the Pole’s party, thanks Steve! It poured a hazy amber colour with sudsy white foam, lasting with lace. Heavy maltbill, fermented in such away that it remains sticky sweet, full-bodied, heavy. Flowery, perfumey, some from the hops, some from the hibiscus flowers and whatever the hell else. Very boozy, lots of spicy Belgian yeast phenols. Too much going on for me, just couldn’t enjoy it. Chudwick (3369) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - MAY 3, 2016
Bomber thanks to one of the cousins from the barrio - nose is sour berries. Tastes like currants to me. Interesting and not anything like a strong Belgian. Definite wheat finish akin to cardboard. wlajwl (7076) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 21, 2016
Aroma is fruit juice, citrus and grapes. The flavor is grapes/white grapes, malts, fruit, mild sweetness and a simple Belgian yeast/very lightly spiced finish. drowland (9080) - Georgia, USA - JAN 31, 2015
Sampled while visiting IL in June, 2014. Golden pour with a small off-white head, mild lacing. Belgian yeast spice on the aroma, fruity esters, mild floral honey aspect. Lightly sweet flavor, crisp, floral honey, yeast spice, fruity. Not bad. cbfobes (2891) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Poured from bottle, pours a clear gold with a thin head, the aroma is of some spices mixed in with a sweetness of honey and a slight fruit touch, the flavor has a yeasty front end with a sweet finish and a touch of fruit, interesting.

Bottle. Pours golden white head ring. Nose/taste of hibiscus, florals, ginger, tea, honey, alcohol soaked lemons and bubblegum. Medium body. TattooJack (534) - Illinois, USA - SEP 20, 2014
Poured from a coupla champagne bottle bombers into a pint glass. Pours a red hazy brown with about a finger of head. Sweet on top of sweet, works well with spicy food, can actually go extra hot if you are washing it down with this one. Very high alcohol points are cancelled out by price. Caramel /amber in colour with a creamy pale head. Aroma is hibiscus, rose, honey, wild flowers. Medium-full bodied, sticky mouthfeel, very sweet on the palate, cloying floral finish. Flavours are honey, caramel, hibiscus, rose, hint of ginger. Little too sweet, could use some balance. XaenDovet (1281) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 1, 2014
Hog shack beer share. Thanks Lynn & Kelly. Pours a clear burnt orange and good off-white cap. Aroma of flowers, honey, spices. Taste is very sweet with a good tang. Sticky. Yummy. crossovert (13947) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Draft. Amber color. Brilliant e of cinnamon, hibiscus and ginger. Flavor follows with a sticky and almost stale but dry finish. Also some Latin coffee and cocoa element In there. Has some inconsistency but I enjoy the spice integration.
