Cask @ 2010 ATL Cask Ale Tasting. Poured a dark brown with a thin tan head. Cherries are definitely present in the nose with notes of toffee, molasses, and nut. Medium body with a smooth mouth feel and soft carbonation. Flavor is heavy on the cherry but I still got some toffee, sweet malt, slight spice, and maybe a hint of maple. I liked the cherry notes in this one but it could have been a tad less sweet for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask. Somewhat similar to the non-cherry version, though I feel like the cherries were overdone here. Pour is dark brown with a small head. Aroma is big cherries, some banana, spice, dark fruit, sweet malt. Taste is similar, though dominated by the cherries. Mouth is full and tart. Overall, a decent brew that is better without the cherries.

Dark brown color. Aroma of bread, sweet malt. Flavor of dark fruit. Sweet flavor, lots of sugars, dark candy. Too sweet for my palate.
