5 Seasons Seven Sisters Münchner

RATINGS: 79   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.26/5   EST. CALORIES: 165   ABV: 5.5%
Named after the original seven Munich breweries that hosted Oktoberfest, THE beer celebration dating back to 1571. It is a deep rich amber Bavarian Lager (known as a Vienna Style to beer aficionados) with a full, round voluptuous body and a very malty finish. Enjoy with pork, roast chicken, sausages and mixed grills.

I thogh this was a dunkel. I was wrong...very good. Malty and slightly tangy. Not bad for a standard lager G-rat

Nice clear reddish-amber with small white head. Aroma and flavor of Saaz hops. A little malty for a Vienna, but not bad.

From tap at brewpub : A big spicey malty smell. Pours clear dark amber color with good lacing and half finger head. Spices and malt on the taste side. Medium body wtih a very smooth feel. Not much aftertaste. I really liked this one.

On tap at the Prado location. Amber color with a white fluffy head. Nose is caramel, pine, a little bit of funk. Not too bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yet another lager. This brewery does it about as well as most, but what can you say? Weak aroma and flavor. Very smooth mouthfeel and finish with little to no aftertaste. Uninteresting.

Served on tap at the brewpub and shared with my wife, who was enthusiastic about it. Light aroma with just a touch of malt & hops. Clear amber color, average head that diminshed quickly. Very mild and balanced bitterness, light bodied, dry finish. Very drinkable at the front of the glass but seemed a bit watery toward the end of the glass as the beer warmed and carbonation faded. Quaff these early and enjoy, save the heftier brews for slower savoring.

On tap, served in sampler glass. Normally I like 5 Seasons beers, but I’m not big on this one. There is little hop presence, with too much malt leaving it unbalanced. Strange aftertaste

don’t understand the 1.9 rating but anyway. Deep copper color with thin head. Sweet taste of camamel malt and a good balance of grain and malt. Nice finish and very drinkable.

Nice aroma but flavorless. I didn’t like this beer that much although my sister Millie enjoyed a lot.
