Pretty enjoyable, I am glad this is on tap everytime I visit Atlanta. This is always a good first beer of the evening at the brewery. Hoppy, somewhat herbal nose and just a hint of sweet caramel as well. Pretty savory on the palate, with some sweet breadiness, but could have just a bit more fruit characters. Draft at Roswell brewpub.
Poured clear copper color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish that was moderate in duration.
This is a solid beer for style. jw0406 (1275) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 11, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2014 Draft pours a dark amber color with a small white head. Aromas of sweet maly, caramel, bread. Light bodied, refreshing. DiarmaidBHK (4891) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2014
Draft at brewpub. Pours light brown with a khaki head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Has some maltiness on the nose. Fairly malty on the tongue but has enough bitterness on the finish to keep things interesting. Very quaffable. BrockLanders (780) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUN 22, 2006
On tap at the pub. Amber pour, whitish head. Nice mild caramelish aroma, maybe some spiciness. Flavor is more of the same, but the toasty malts assert themselves more with an ever so slight hop presence. Hop bitterness comes through in the end....thin bodied and lightly carbonated. Not too bad.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours light amber with a moderate white head. Aroma and flavor are both light malt and hops. It’s a well-made Vienna, but not particularly exciting one way or the other. Probably here for the non-beer-geek, though it’s worth stressing that it is pretty well made and I’d certainly drink it again. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - JUN 18, 2007
Draught at the brewpup. Don’t remember the specifics, but I found this beer to be a solid example for the style. Slightly sweet caramel malt, slight hops in the finish. Not amazing but enjoyable. SSSteve (4006) - - AUG 11, 2007
clear amber colored with a medium sized off-white head. malty aroma with notes of biscuit. flavor is sweet biscuity malts mainly. a good, solid, standard example. arjoseph (642) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 9, 2007
On tap at the restaurant. This one was all about the finish: a burst of dark grain with saltiness at the sides, blending into melony freshness on the top of the tongue, and a little bit of mustiness going on too. A very weird but enjoyable conglomeration of sensations. Nothing else noteworthy in this one (or mabye I needed a bigger sample size). Hank1980 (966) - Athens, Georgia, USA - SEP 18, 2009
On tap. Poured an amber copper, clear, off-white head, lacing. Aroma is malty, toasty, sweet. Taste is similar. Not too big. A session brew. Not bad, clean, and easy-drinking. Decent.
