COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the original seven Munich breweries that hosted Oktoberfest, THE beer celebration dating back to 1571. It is a deep rich amber Bavarian Lager (known as a Vienna Style to beer aficionados) with a full, round voluptuous body and a very malty finish. Enjoy with pork, roast chicken, sausages and mixed grills.

On tap at the pub. Amber pour, whitish head. Nice mild caramelish aroma, maybe some spiciness. Flavor is more of the same, but the toasty malts assert themselves more with an ever so slight hop presence. Hop bitterness comes through in the end....thin bodied and lightly carbonated. Not too bad.

Delirium (670) - Falmouth, Cornwall, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2007
Draught at the brewpub. Pours light amber with a moderate white head. Aroma and flavor are both light malt and hops. It’s a well-made Vienna, but not particularly exciting one way or the other. Probably here for the non-beer-geek, though it’s worth stressing that it is pretty well made and I’d certainly drink it again.

Draught at the brewpup. Don’t remember the specifics, but I found this beer to be a solid example for the style. Slightly sweet caramel malt, slight hops in the finish. Not amazing but enjoyable.

On tap at the restaurant. This one was all about the finish: a burst of dark grain with saltiness at the sides, blending into melony freshness on the top of the tongue, and a little bit of mustiness going on too. A very weird but enjoyable conglomeration of sensations. Nothing else noteworthy in this one (or mabye I needed a bigger sample size).

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 3, 2009
Bright copper with tan head. Sweet malty aroma with clean lagering yeast smell. Juicy body with a smooth and low carbonation. Thin and watery finish.

On tap. Poured an amber copper, clear, off-white head, lacing. Aroma is malty, toasty, sweet. Taste is similar. Not too big. A session brew. Not bad, clean, and easy-drinking. Decent.

Little to no hop aroma. Subtle malt flavor throughout w/ a dry finish. Not at all what I expected.
