Had on tap at the brewpub in June of 2006: Pours a slightly hazy copper orange with nicely-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of fresh piny earthy hops and some hints of sweet caramel malt. Body starts bittersweet with lots of fresh pine and grapefruity bittering hoppy presence before a drier crisp finish. A nice IPA. marksahara (79) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2006
On draught from keg rented direct from brewery. Pours a light orange with about 2 to 4 fingers of crown with good retention. Aroma is extremely floral and full of pine tones and some citrus hop notes. Flavour is well-balanced, with some hop bitterness but a nice fruity sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium with some mild carbonation and a slight stickiness. Malt doesn’t stand out, but maybe that’s what provides such a well-balanced tasting beer. Not overwhelmingly hopped, but a wonderful beer to have with fish or other delicate meat. Also a great session beer for me. TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - NOV 15, 2006
Pours golden orange with a moderately fluffy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, very identifiable as Cascades. Taste is fruity with the typical ctirus and pine resin tates, but there’s also a pleasant mango notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly sticky and resinous. Nicely hopped, not at all overwhelming but there is pletny of sticky citrus and pine cones. shp555 (2024) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 29, 2006
Light amber color with a white head. Sweet floral aroma. Kind a weak taste for a IPA tasted more alike an american pale ale. No real hop bitterness. Almost a sweet taste. BrockLanders (780) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUN 22, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. Not too shabby for a pub IPA. Translucent gold pour...minimal whitish head. Lotsa floral hoppiness in the nose...piney too. Flavor follows suit...nice citrusy hop bitterness...decent malt balance. Fairly full bodied. A tasty drink.

On tap at the brewpub in the ATL. Find this to be a nice solid brewpub IPA. Light orange in appearance, white sticky head with decent lacing. Slight citrusy faint floral notes in the aroma, hint of spruce. Bit of a a grapefruity citrus flavor. Not over the top. Pleasant thick mouthfeel - finishes strong. waolsen (1376) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - JUN 9, 2006
tap at brewery. new batch just released two days before I had it. could use a little more time. amber pour with thin head. nice hops and efferevecent. weak bitterness. Sammy (12212) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 7, 2006
Sampled at brewpub. An average IPA all around, with extra measure of malting. Not much info on this one. Some grapefruit in aroma, medium-lighter mouthfeel Nuffield (4171) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JAN 9, 2006
Buttery grapefruit aroma, very curious flavor, like roasted salmon on a Le Cruset griddle pan. Slightly murky feel in the finish. Brewpub carbonation levels, with tingling through until the bitterness brings the finish home. Slightly hazy amber color. Hazy, honey amber. Buttery, citrus aroma. Flavor is buttery, piney, dry and doughy. Pasty body. A little chemical. Carraway or rye elements. Clean western hops on the backend.
