Hmm, where to begin with this one? Starts amber pour lasting cream head. Nose has lots of flowers and citrus. Taste begins with the prerequisted bitterness. Citrus soon follows but is strangly overpowered by cloves. Is this a beligan IPA, is this an infected IPA, or does it just suck? These, my friend are the questions. Comes out of the tap a somewhat hazy honey golden, darker at the core than at the edges, with a very thick, fine-bubbled and rather persistent pale wheat head. Hearty aroma is quite hoppy, more woody than resiny, with an undertone of citrus, mainly orange. Strongly hoppy flavor has equal parts wood and evergreen, with a citrus undertone and hints of malt and herbs. Thick flavor has lots of fizz and life, leaving a hoppy tingle that lasts. If you’re in Atlanta and like IPAs, it’s not complicated at all - drink one. msante79 (2225) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - APR 6, 2013
On tap 5 Seasons. Pours nice hazy orangish copper with a white head. Aromas of citrus hops, light tropical fruit, little grape, slight metallic note along with some light bready malts. Flavors of some citrus, some bready malts, fair amount of hop bitternes, and that metallic note again. Decent IPA regardless.
