COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We created a new beer inspired by "bourbon" and aged it in 5 different bourbon (or whiskey) barrels. We wanted a beer that would be interesting enough on its own, but that would really show off the character of each of the different bourbons and barrels. And so we did. Its the beautiful color of bourbon and, like its boozey counterpart, has barley, wheat and even corn in the mash. Its kind of somewhere between a bourbon and a beer. So we call it the Mash Up!
Evan Williams has a smooth, lush, roundness. Especially the Single Barrel. That fullness shines through into the beer, especially in the mid pallet.
