Draft. Pours amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma is smoke, a bit of chocolate, generic malt. Flavor is straight forward smoke (mild, not reminiscent of grilled meat, as is often the case), caramel, toffee. Moderate sweetness. No hops or bitterness. Long sweet finish. Mouthfeel seemed a bit thin.

Dark brown color with a reddish tint and a small head. Aroma has a ton of smoke, toffee, and caramel. The flavor is smoky with some oak and caramel. This like a rauch light. Creative and good.

Appearance: Very dark reddish-amber hued body, lightly hazed, and topped with a few scant bubbles.

Smell: A collection of modest notes: chocolate, toast, relatively clean smoke, distant plum, far-off coffee.

Taste: Mild (harhar) milk chocolate with toasted barley grain husks and given a wispy coating of smoke. Almost gives you a hint of washed out coffee -- almost. Low fruity esters. Leafy hops remain light, too, with only a very mild bitterness. Dry, malty, downright gentle finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Lightly carbonation.

Overall: A decent mild!
