Comes out of the tap an opaque coffee brown with just a sliver of a light tan head - but that must be from the pour, to make sure I got as much brewski as possible. Smoky aroma has horehound, fruity, licorice, earthy and even Coca-Cola notes. Bold, robust flavor floods the palate with caramel, molasses and roast malt notes as well as licorice, fruity, and, yes, Coca-Cola tones. Heavy texture has plenty of fizz, and leaves a smoky and fruity finish - I definitely get a hint of cherry as it heads downstairs. (Cherry Coke? Hee hee!) This one is a beast indeed! kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 12, 2012
