Bottle. Batch 4; 2016. Dark clear brown with a small bubbly beige head. Relatively faint aroma of spice and caramel and maybe toast. Semi-sweet and lightly spiced taste. Medium bodied. Ok, barely. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Merry Christmas indeed! Dark amber with a small tan head. Smells and tastes like Christmas with cinnamon and other spices complimenting caramel malt and maybe even a touch of pine. Or maybe that was just the Christmas tree. GreatDane1632 (1174) - North Dakota, USA - JAN 6, 2015
Bottle sampled at a beer share -- A very nice spiced beer. Great Aromatics, the spices don’t overpower the beer. djd07 (15544) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Bottle thanks to Kevin. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is spice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Medium mouthfeel with light spice and cinnamon, hides alcohol well, good. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Dark brown pour with an off-white head. The aroma has some big cinnamon notes as well as some nutmeg and toffee. The flavor is similar. I get some caramel and cocoa notes as well as some cinnamon. There is also a bit of vanilla in the aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Another very interesting beer from 5 Stones. So happy to have these guys in the Texas brewing scene.
