Bottle. Poured clearish gold with light head. Didnt note the lacing. Notes of champangne yeast, fake lemon, light wood, and bland funk. Lacks alot of complexity and body. Average gueuze in my honest opinion. We did have this next to 6 or 7 cantillons and bullfrogs so it pales hard in comparison. bob_w (378) - new york, New York, USA - JUL 11, 2013
We saw a gueuze in bottles on the menu and, though having very low expectations, we had to give it a try. What poured out was probably the best American made gueuze that either of us had ever had! It was perfectly sour, tart, effervescent, refreshing. Where we expected to find unpleasant funk and off flavors we found brilliance. The 1/2 liter bottle was $13 -- and worth every penny! j12601 (13298) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Bottle at 508. Pours a clear gold with a faint hint of haze under a medium sized white head. Nice funk and musk with a touch of lemon. Crisp and lively, lovely at 11AM on a Sunday. Somewhat lemony, crisp acid, very bright. Refreshing. Acid and a bit of funky musk. The carbonation is almost too big, but it’s still easy drinking with no detectable alcohol, and a lot of beautiful tart lemon flavors. jtclockwork (17634) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Bottle. Pours light orange with white head. Nose and taste of wild yeast, nectarine, lemon, funk, champagne yeast and tart fruit. Moderate acidity. Medium body. ben4321 (6830) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - AUG 25, 2012

Aroma: This one has a nice, mildly sour nose, with lemon/citrus, yeast, and some wheat
Appearance: It pours into the glass a clear golden color with a fizzy white head
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet and light-medium sour, with a smooth and balanced flavor
Palate: The body is fairly clean, with a rather heavy carbonation, and a somewhat acidic feel/finish
I thought this beer was quite good, the heavy carbonation takes away from it a bit, but it is definitely a good one. This is another very well-made and interesting offering from 508.
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2014 Bottle at 508 with streets. Pours a clear golden body with nice white head. Aroma is lemon and zesty cleaner. Mouthfeel is dry but extremely carbonated - the carbonation really takes away from this beer overmasking the subtle sour and funk notes. I wish I could get a bottle or two to go so I could see this beer age. LOTS of potential. blipp (9904) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 1, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Tart and wheaty, crisp and slightly fizzy, with light lemony sweetness, medium acidity, and a quick dry finish. Refreshing and easy drinking sour.
