Marked 5.5% ABV
Hazy reddish to copper color, fluffy tan head. Sweet, sugary, spicy scent, a hint of licorice. Sweet, spicy, mineral, alcohol taste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.
Draught, 4.5% at the brewpub. Cloudy nut brown colour, perhaps a little red. The flavour is hoppy and a little metallic. Sweetish and tasted a bit too much of mediocre homebrew. Sourish finish. tgncc (3144) - Bellmore, New York, USA - SEP 26, 2011
From a bottle at 508. Definietly toasty and buttery on the nose, along with caramel, toffee. Some vegetable also. The flavor follows exactly. Flat, lack of carbonation, reddish, murky. Medium in body. Light pine hop finish. Not great. blipp (9902) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 31, 2011
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Plain malty aroma with light floral notes. The flavor has lightly sweet malts with light floral hops. Not bad. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 5, 2011
Draft at the Brewpub with Andrew and Brendan. Pours a deep, hazy red. Aroma is slightly spicy, herbal, and floral. Mouthfeel is medium with some nice notes of caramel malts.

Bottle @ 508 w Andy and James. Pretty pour with a translucent red color and a light hue. Lacking in aroma but spicy and decently balanced on the palate. Not a beer I’d seek out, but decent and faily attention-grabbing as part of a tasting session. Pwn3d (1958) - Manhattan, New York, USA - AUG 2, 2011
Bottle at the brewery. I love this beer... A great take on the style. Herbal and spicy.
