Yellow pour with a bit of a haze. The cabernet is strong with this one. Almost too strong. What am I, a wine drinker? rougeau13 (3011) - Richmond, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2017

Wow! The oak barrel aging is really prominent on this one. Smells like the inside of the barrell with caramel, wood and marshmallow. Hazy golden color. Thin body. Consistency is a little on the watery side. Tastes like melting wood resin. Dont question that. Just realize it. Marheb (5750) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 12, 2016
(En fût à Draught House): Un vin dessert sur les stimulants, des sucres rehaussés par une grande chaleur, un aspect salin et de la chair d’orange. Un puissant sipper.

(Draught during Texas Craft Brewers Festival) cloudy, pulpy, no head. Nose of Belgian spices and yeast, cinnamon, spicy, peach, alcohol and apricot. Taste of peach, white wine, wet wood, prickly carbonation, stone fruits, complex and refreshing given the high ABV. djd07 (14471) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 18, 2013

On tap at the Meddlesome Moth Anniversary week. The only beer I got two pours of.
The beer is a cloudy orange with a small white head that leaves splotchy lacing.
Very fruity on the nose. Lemon, orange, apple, and wine character.
The taste is awesome. Very fruity and full of Cabernet as well. Very well balanced between the tripel and wine.
Super smooth medium bodied beer. Slightly prickly carbonation.
I am impressed by this for sure. Wine aging a tripel is genius.
