From a ceramic growler shared at Todd’s. Dark in pour but thin in body. Felt oxidized a bit with some soy.

Growler. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Medium mouth, chocolate, brownie, nice booze, lingering bitter roast finish, very good.

Standard stouty smell. Typical roasty stout taste. Nothing too special about this one.

Nice job. Decent malt aroma with wood. Pretty opaque and dark with good lacing. Average body. Good flavors of roasted malt and wood with a bitter finish. Well balanced.

Pours a dark brown almost black with khaki colored head, very viscous as well. Roasted malts, raw cocoa, dark chocolate, and some coffee on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bittersweet note similar to unsweetened dark cocoa. Nice.
