(Growler, courtesy of Fratto) Pours a clear golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toasted grain, Belgian yeast, and caramel. Flavor of grass, herbs, toasted nuts, yeast, and subtle dried fruit. BMan1113VR (7929) - Los Angeles, California, USA - SEP 18, 2009
Growler thanks to Fratto. Pours with an off-white head over a clear amber body. Aroma of leather, grain, caramel, belgian yeast, hops, and a bit of caraway. Taste is dry, alcoholic, belgian yeast, bread and low residual sweetness. Medium carbonation. Cavie (4805) - Arlington, Texas, USA - SEP 16, 2009
Clear reddish orange pour. Decent head that sits. Light fruit smell. Has tiny bits of hops but is incredibly scarce. Taste has a bland malty feel that has elements of dark bitterness to it. Taste loses it’s sweetness quickly. Some sweet notes however. mmmbeer (1429) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 29, 2009
Pint at the Draught House- poured semi transparent, very sweet aroma laced with some malt. Hit the mouth with a medium body, sweetness dominated the malt. Whew- I can still taste the sweetness. fivehoursfree (11) - Texas, USA - AUG 2, 2009
They just released it at the anniversary party. It didn’t taste very "strong." It might have been a little too fresh because it also tasted too sweet. Other than that, a very solid offering.

Rather nice, but prehaps a tad on the sweet side (for my taste, not for the beer/style). I am so happy these guys seem to really be getting it together - headed there for anniversary party. Best of luck to a great local brewer.
