COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
That’s right, the first seasonal offering (of many to come ) from (512) Brewing Company was brewed this week. It’s a Robust Porter brewed with Pecans. Look for this beer to be released sometime in late October - We can’t release it until there’s at least a hint of cool weather in the air! This nearly black Porter is made with US 2-row and Crystal malts along with Baird’s Chocolate and Black malts. Mild smooth hop bitterness is contrasted with sharp black malt bitterness. It has a full body and malty sweetness balanced with subtle pecan aroma and flavor from locally grown pecans. Yet another true Austin original!

biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 19, 2015
Had this on draft at Friendly Spot in San Antonio. Really nice porter, the pecan adding a bit of sweetness, certainly not subtle but still balanced. Like most good flavored beers, this would have been good just as a porter.

Pours a very dark brown-black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted chocolate and nuts. Thin mouthfeel with a nice lingering finish. Alcohol is well hidden making it very drinkable.
