COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(512) Stingo is a portion of our fourth anniversary ale aged twelve months in new American oak. The biscuity Maris Otter and caramelly Crystal malts contribute notes of toast, toffee, and dried fruits, which are balanced with a blend of authentic UK Fuggle and East Kent Golding hops. Dry hopped with Northdown, twelve months aging has deepened this beer’s character and imparted subtle, yet complex, flavors of wood and vanilla.

Really pleasant beer. Aromas and flavors were sharp with a nice hop bite but oak sweetness. Woody malts and toffee. Copper color and medium weight.

GABF 2013. Deep brown with some mahogany red. Nice nose of spicy hops, red, dried fruits, light caramel. Taste follows, with some tartness and wood tannin. Red wine qualities. Complex sipper.
