Mild aromas of sour mash with grain. Nice color and head. Good weight with a sharp finish. Flavors were earthy and bready with a good touch of sour. Not too tart though. Some funk as well. stephenj007 (124) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 13, 2017
For me, this was a style of beer I don’t usually go for, but wanted to give it a shot anyway. Probably won’t do it again....Big bomber, bottle pour! Aromas of fruits, light citrus and Sweet-Tarts candy. Cloudy, yeasty appearance in the glass, minimal head, very little appearance of carbonation bubbles, no lacing. Evenly mixed taste notes of sweet and sour. Sour at the front, sweetness on the finish. The front palate is a bit fizzy. This is a clean finishing brew, not much hangs around, except for a hint of bitter on the finish. So, I have decided that sour ales are not my preferred style.....on to the next! markducommun (1210) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 4, 2016

Bottle shared in NYC - thanks to Sander. Pours clear brown, reddish, with an off-white head that fades away immediately. Tangy berries inhe nose, a little wood, toffee. Light-medium sweet with low bitterness, a little metallic zing, cherry, faint musty funk, hints of lemon. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, with woody dryness, a little earth, leathery berries, some lemony acidity. Enjoyable beer.
