Bottle courtesy of anstei, thx! Cloudy orange color with a thick white head, looking beautiful! Aroma is perfumy tropical fruits, peach, mango, melon and apricots of course. Taste is dry, with lots of tropical fruits, slight honey, schwarzbrot crust, with a hint of a passion-fruity tartness in the finish. Lively fine-bubbled carbonation. Comparable to a modern hops The Kernel Pale Ale.

Bottle from the web shop. Ah yes, taking the first whiff you see why this beer carries its name. Smells like an apricot pie! Has the slight air of being artificial, but that’s probably only due to the intensity. Smooth homogeneous foam, a bit murky in color. Very bitter in taste, rather bready, with a fizzy carbonization that takes off the edge.
