August 2017 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. Huge thanks! As '523 Pacific Imperial IPA'. Murky turbid two tone brown, as though it's heavy with solute and separating into two, bubbly off-white head. Looks crap. Aroma is fairly airy with some mango and lime. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is very fruity, lots of orange citrus, a little bubblegum and some grassy hop. Tastes a lot better than it looks! (7-3-8-4-15=3.7)

Danke an anstei. 11/10/11/11/9/11

Bottle from my secret santa anstei, cheers! Pours a hazy orange/brown with a white head. Hoppy nose, grassy, resin. Quite some resin, citrus zest in taste. Some orange marmalade. Nice bitterness, but a bit empty.

Bottle shared on Level 42 23/08/2017. Many thnaks to Adrian Tipple for this one. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a frothy beige head. Aroma is dank orange citrus, semi sweet grains, hockey puck plastic, little onion. Flavour is composed of semi sweet grains, orange rind, dank , light onion, spicy yeast. Palate is semi sweet, highish frothy carbonation, griany. Not bad.

Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours cloudy orange with a small, creamy white head. Juicy, ripening citrus in the aroma. Medium sweet flavor mild rindy bitterness, oily pine, melon, watermelon, grass. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Finishes with a little warmth, juicy citrus fruits, melon, tangerine. Good.

Scopey (15725) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2017 Bottle at L42. It pours hazy golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, ripe stone fruits, candied peel, marmalade, candy, apple and pear. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, soapy citrus, apple, pear, melon, metallic, spice and some alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Perhaps lacks a bit of clarity, but there are some god elements to this.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to the Tipple, 23/08/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is mellow citric peel, mandarin, straw, cantaloupe melon, grapefruit, papaya. Taste comprises pine needle, melon, toasted bread, grapefruit, bitter orange, mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with balanced hop bitterness. Decent well rounded number.

Ripe citrus fruits, marmalade, tangerine, tropical fruits, mango, papaya, passion fruit. Hazy brown, big, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More citrus fruits, bitter orange, orange peel, candied tropical fruits, mango, papaya, soft carbonation, medium bodied, bitter finish. Nice aroma, palate could do with a bit more complexity, lacking a bit of punch for an IIPA. Bottle from the brewery, Bern.

Kurze Review von Untappd: Having fixed the tap McGyver-like with a Victorinox Swiss Tool - gäu Ändu u Bäschtu - could enjoy this Wonder-IPA. Great!

Hazy amber color with nice beige head. Beautiful hopping, grapefruit, tropical fruits, a bit peach, a bit caramel. Taste has a good hop kick, good residual sweetness, quite bitter. Good balance. Smooth texture. Very good!
